Adding a 'None' type dependency between two objects in Integrate is easy. Begin by expanding the object you want to create the dependency for.
Click on the 'Dependencies' tab to go directly to the Dependencies section of the card.
Tip: The "None" type dependency creates a visual connection between two objects without impacting their dates or movements. It's useful for indicating a relationship, but applying this dependency won't cause any changes to the Gantt chart or object timelines.
You can add a 'None' type dependency as either 'Blocked By' or 'Blocking', depending on your needs.
For this article, I'll be adding a 'None' type 'Blocking' dependency. Click the 'is blocking' selection bar to begin.
If you're adding a 'Blocked By' dependency, select the 'is blocked by' selection bar instead.
Under each selection bar you will see a list of available objects that you can link as dependencies.
Tip: Use the Search bar to quickly find objects by name!
Note that the 'None' type dependency results in the gap between the two objects cannot be adjusted. This dependency is purely visual, so the gap will automatically be based on the target date of the first object and the start date of the second object. If you need to adjust the gap, update the start and/or target dates of the two objects.
